Our Story

Pretoria's Pump & Water Specialists

Wikkie's Pompe is a family-run pump and water business based in Queenswood, Pretoria. For over three decades the Wikkie's name has been trusted by homeowners, farmers and businesses across Gauteng for pumps that simply keep working — from swimming-pool and booster pumps to borehole, submersible and sewage pumps, all backed by our own on-site repair and reconditioning workshop.

What started as a neighbourhood pump and pool shop has grown with the times. As electricity costs climbed and more of our customers moved off-grid, we made solar water pumping the heart of what we do — designing, supplying and installing complete solar systems for boreholes, storage tanks, irrigation and pools.

Today, led by Werner Rieckert, Wikkie's Pompe is the sole South African distributor of RISON solar pumping systems. You get world-class, certified equipment — proven on thousands of installations in more than 70 countries — combined with hands-on local expertise, stock on the shelf and after-sales service you can drive to.
